Reef Fishing in Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman’s surrounding waters offer some of the best reef fishing in the Caribbean, and boating.ky takes full advantage of every opportunity. Our reef charters typically fish the southern side of the reef in around 20 feet of water, where snapper, jacks, and barracuda are plentiful. In good weather, we cross the reef and drift along the northern side, where the fishing can be truly exceptional — a favorite spot for catching larger species and enjoying panoramic views of the island from offshore.

The island’s reefs are teeming with life, including wahoo, tuna, mahi-mahi, barracuda, and a vibrant variety of tropical reef fish. Whether you’re a first-time angler or an experienced fisherman, our local captains know where the bite is hot and how to make every trip a success.

From the shallow southern waters to the deeper northern drifts, reef fishing with boating.ky delivers an authentic Cayman Islands experience — fun, rewarding, and perfectly suited to families, friends, and fishing enthusiasts alike.
